The Central Bank of Nepal was established on the 14th of Baishakh, 2013, in the Nepali calendar. Under the name of the Central Bank, the Nepal Rastra Bank oversees and formulates necessary policies and regulations to operate the country's economy by closely monitoring all economic activities within the nation.
